The MoneyWorks® Warehouse Extension adds barcode-scanner-driven picking and packing functionality to MoneyWorks Gold. It is designed for warehouse operations where physical goods need to be tracked against sales orders.

Requirements

  • MoneyWorks Gold — the Warehouse Extension is not available in Cashbook or Express editions
  • Android barcode scanner — a ruggedised Android device with a built-in scanner is required. Compatible hardware includes the CipherLab RS35 series and similar Android-based mobile computers
  • A network connection between the scanner and the MoneyWorks server

Setup overview

  1. Install the MoneyWorks® Warehouse Extension app on your Android scanner device — it is available from the Cognito downloads page
  2. The app will automatically detect and link to your MoneyWorks server when both are on the same network
  3. Configure pick and pack workflows in MoneyWorks® under Setup → Warehouse
